What a delightful day. In the grand scheme of days, this one was just perfect. I am not usually the most fond of going on field trips. Pam recently described to me that her sister in law felt it would be quiteter for her in the bus if she just put a pan over her head and banged on it with a hammer! Not so on Mrs. Vargas's bus. It was an absolutely great group of well behaved 5th grade young adults. I had a group of three. Harleen, Eric and Haley. Can you find Haley in this picture?

The group of three was perfectly manageable and we zipped from exhibit to exhibit without any complaints. We didn't have a lot of time. My wish is that we can go back this summer as a family and just disperse and see everything we want to see all day without being rushed. We could meet together for meals. Here is Haley with the Jelly Fish. She has her otter puppet on her hand, which we had just purchased in the gift shop along with a couple of charms for our bracelets.

I caught Haley unaware as she was touching starfish, sea snails and many other wonderful creatures. She wasn't as timid of touching them as I am.
As soon as we got home we dashed off to church. I got to peak my head in and see the worship team - Haley didn't know I was there so it was fun to see her so involved and participating.
She just got her head gear for her braces yesterday and will start wearing them tonight. She is hurting from tightening and I think tomorrow will be particularly bad. Say a little prayer for her!
