See this relaxed face... I hope to be sporting that again in just about 30 days! We are taking the kids to Kauai. I am really looking forward to some fun in the sun after all the excitement of Christmas. Frank and I had been planning to leave on a cruise this Saturday with his cousins, Ken and Sherri. Sadly, Sherri's cancer seems to have returned and she has begun chemo again. She was feeling up to going, but at the same time she was finding out she had cancer, her husband was diagnosed with pnemonia. Please help us to pray for both of them during this struggle of their lives!
Frank has been traveling since early Sunday morning and we really, really miss him! He will be back tonight and we will have delayed birthday cake for Nolan. Making it a full week of 18 year old birthday gra! We started celebrating the day after Thanksgiving, when Melanie gave a joint birthday party for my brother Todd - soon to be 35 and Nolan. What a great and relaxing time! (plus we got to see baby Ben!). Then on Saturday we went over to the bay area and shopped at Gilroy and stayed at our favorite Bay Landing Inn in Burlingame. Tuesday- Nolan's actual birthday, Haley and I took him to the new, to Modesto, Fuddruckers. So it has been quite a week.
Haley is very busy. All her activities have activities during the month of December. So Mom's taxi and hugging service are doing overtime. The good news is that her kids musical will be done on the 15th and next week she will have all minimum days for conference time. After the 15th it should be much smoother sailing.
Well the 8 o'clock time to take Haley to school timer is ringing. More later - hopefully.
Oh yeah, credit for this great picture goes to my friend Cathi. Taken on our way home from our weekend with them in Victoria. I lifted it off her blog - thanks Cathi!
